The Canadian Lighthouse
by Edward F. Bush
Abstract
This study traces the evolution of the Canadian lighthouse from the
first structure at Louisbourg to the latest developments in lighthouse
design and technology within the past decade. The treatment is regional,
with emphasis on the older extant structures. An appendix lists data on
individual lighthouses within regional agencies.
