Just north of Winnipeg, on the banks of the Red River, sits a bastion of history. From hosting the signing of the first of the Numbered Treaties to serving as a Hudson's Bay Company stronghold and much more, Lower Fort Garry has had a varied and fascinating history.

Au nord de Winnipeg, sur les rives de la rivière Rouge, se trouve un bastion de l’histoire. Lower Fort Garry a notamment été le lieu de signature du premier des traités numérotés, a servi de bastion de la Compagnie de la Baie d’Hudson et plus encore, ce qui rend son histoire variée et fascinante.
