Port-Royal features a reconstruction of the
Habitation, one of the earliest European settlements in North America
where Samuel de Champlain lived in 1605. Costumed interpreters share
with visitors the challenges faced by the French, and their friendship
with the Mi’kmaq. It is located in Port Royal, Nova Scotia.
Port-Royal comporte une reconstruction de
l’Habitation, l’un des premiers établissements européens en Amérique du
Nord, où Samuel de Champlain a vécu en 1605. Des interprètes en costume
racontent aux visiteurs les difficultés rencontrées par les Français et
leur amitié avec les Mi’kmaq. Il est situé à Port Royal, en
Nouvelle-Écosse.
