Melanson Settlement is located in Port Royal, Nova Scotia. Acadian settlers lived here on the banks of the Annapolis River in the 17th and 18th centuries with a unique system of cooperative dykeland farming. Stroll the path and take in the view over the marshlands and fields. L’Établissement Melanson est situé à Port Royal, en Nouvelle-Écosse. Les colons acadiens vivaient ici sur les berges de la rivière Annapolis aux 17e et 18e siècles avec un système d’agriculture coopérative sur marais asséché unique en son genre.
