Fort Gaspareaux National Historic Site is an archaeological site located just outside Port Elgin, New Brunswick, 4.8 km from the village of Baie Verte. It is on a small point of land jutting into Baie Verte on the Northumberland Strait separating the mainland from Prince Edward Island.

The site consists of 1.23 hectares of flat coastal land on the south side of the estuary of the Gaspareaux River and is protected by a substantial sea wall. Its landscape contains archaeological traces of the French Fort Gaspareaux together with 9 graves of provincial soldiers killed in 1756 while garrisoning the fort. The designation refers to the landscape and the remains of the French-English struggle it contains.

Le lieu historique national du Fort-Gaspareaux est un site archéologique situé à l’extérieur du Port Elgin (Nouveau-Brunswick) à 4,8 km du village de Baie Verte, sur une petite pointe de terrain qui s’avance dans la Baie Verte, dans le détroit de Northumberland qui sépare le continent de l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard.

Le lieu, qui comprend 1,23 hectare de terrain côtier plat sur la côte sud de l’estuaire de la rivière Gaspareaux, est protégé par une digue importante. Son paysage est composé de traces archéologiques du Fort Gaspareaux français et de 9 tombes de soldats provinciaux tués en 1756 alors qu’ils étaient en garnison au fort. La désignation concerne le paysage et les traces de la bataille anglo-française qu’il contient.
